Landlines in the UK are going digital by January 2027. Although the landline isn’t going away, I know you have questions about this, especially if your mobile or broadband connectivity is poor, or you don’t have either.
I’ve arranged for BT to hold a Q&A session on the transition to Digital Voice on Wednesday July 23rd 10-12 at Blakeney Village Hall. They will tell you what Digital Voice is, why the change is necessary and what it means for you.
You don’t need to pre book, just turn up.
Please do come along and encourage all your parishioners, especially those who are landline dependent or have telecare devices, or caring for those groups, to attend. There are various workarounds that are available that need to be set in place, so please do come and find out.
